Ground Operation Officer

Qualifications

1. Minimum of High School Diploma and/or Vocational Certificate.
2. Must be fluent in both Chinese and English.

Experience required

1. Knowledge in Microsoft Office.
2. Able to work shift.
3. Team player and when asked to, have potential to lead.
4. Capable to handle stress and work under pressure and / or dateline.
5. Take charge when the situation calls for (leadership skill is preferred).
6. Decisive within you scope.
7. Able to think out of the box and / or be flexible when the situation calls for.
8. At least 1 year experience in Passenger Service (Airline). Fresh graduate are welcome

Accountability

1. Initiate contact points for new ports.
2. Liaison with Airport Authority of new ports for all matters regarding to payments (parking/landing fees, airport tax, signage, etc.)
3. Coordinate with Airport Authorities / GHA / GSA at all stations.
4. Responsible for maintaining and stocking of the Landing Cards for all ports that we operate to in the aircrafts and office.
5. When working office hours, assist with Administrative work concerning to Ground Operations (checking and replying emails /correspondence with authorities or concern parties).
6. Coordinate with relevant departments (OCC / Cabin Crew / Scheduler / Sales)
7. Preflight preparations (check PNL / finalizing catering orders / seat assignments / special request / GHA briefing /allocating group counters as per request).
8. Provide assistance to passengers to maintain our standards with service mind.
9. Post flight checks (flight report / document check / filing).
10. Baggage tracing via email once a case is raised from all stations.
11. Available to be assigned to travel either to domestic or overseas with a one week prior notice.
12. You will be mainly assigned to handle flights operating to and from China.
13. Carry out any other duties assigned by Ground Manager and / or Director of Flight Operations.
